The Tennis Forehand Follow Through

July 18th, 2010 . by admin

When in a tennis match there would be some time when you feel that you could generate a little more power and direction from your tennis forehand.  Actually, you can definitely fix the problem.  By developing a good balanced follow through, this will allow you to direct the ball with more accuracy and power. Hitting the tennis ball with more power and consistency is the most important thing.  However, before you can practice with quality you need to know the basic follow through for a tennis forehand. To do this, you need to extend out in the direction you are hitting the ball and then wrap your racket up around your “none” dominant arms shoulder.  A perfect follow through is really essential therefore it is important to know the basics.
