Beach volleyball is a great game to play when you are spending some time on the beach. Along with getting that dark tan under the sea you can enjoy some quality time and have great fun playing beach volley ball. You do not have to be a great player. There are no hard and fast rules to be followed, even if you are a professional player. The equipments required are minimum – you just need a volley ball and a net, which are easily available in any standard sports shops, and some friends. It is not very strenuous but still an excellent way to keep fit. As a beginner you might not have heard of some terms, like dig – it is a shot where the ball is scooped upward or the spike – it is the shot by which you forcefully hit the ball downwards into the opponent’s areas and some others. As you play you will get accustomed to all of them very easily.
