This is my younger sister’s first pregnancy, and she is in the very early stage.  When she talks about the baby supplies, she tells me about how cute the crib looks, or how trendy one of the baby pushchairs looks.  She has no idea about the important features, and it seems as though I am continually lecturing her about what she will need rather than how it looks.  One day, after I had stalked out after exasperatedly explained yet another time why she really needed a lightweight pushcart, I returned and apoligized.  Tearfully, she told me that she appreciated all the good advice I had given her, and that she had followed almost all of my directions
