I think many people who end up having cat problems do because they don’t take their cats to the vet the same as they would if they had a dog. Cats need yearly check ups too but so many people seem to overlook this and only take their cats to the vet once there is a problem. The problem with this is that you can’t detect problems early if they aren’t getting their annual checkups. Since cats can be so finicky, some problems may even be overlooked as the cat being upset by having people over, being handled too much, old age, or lots of other things. This then leads to a problem that may have been treatable becoming an untreatable issue or one that costs a lot of money. You don’t want your cat to suffer unnecessarily or face having to put them to sleep, so make sure to take them to the vet anytime they are acting out of the ordinary just as you would any other family member.
