Can Pilates Fitness help to gain fitness?

In the last few years, the term ‘Pilates Fitness‘ has been a common term by many health enthusiasts. The media has highlighted much about this method of stretching and toning exercises as more Hollywood celebrities join in the fold.  No one would argue that Pilates improve blood circulation and flexibility and for some people, they have gain fitness from Pilates exercises. Over the years, there has been much debate over whether or not Pilates can improve the overall cardiovascular and general fitness level of the person. Some people tend to think that Pilates alone will not greatly increase a person’s fitness level, although he or she will benefit from the increase in flexibility that Pilates will provide.
