There is a company in my city that conducts trials on new pharmaceutical products. Some of the projects pays participants a substantial stipend. As a college student, I am always looking for extra income to cover unexpected expenses. I saw an advertisement requesting healthy males in my age group to take part in a study for a new sleep aid. They offered five hundred dollars to anybody completing the study. Halfway through the study, some participants, including me, started having kidney problems. We contacted a San Diego Attorney since the pharmaceutical company denied having any responsibility for our medical bills. After a few months of litigation, we settled out of court.
