Those who want to work in Australia’s construction environment need to hold a safety card which is required by the government. The potential employee must go to classes to obtain something called a White Card which used to be called Blue Card. There are courses the employee must take and pass in order to qualify to work at construction sites. It’s all about safety and how to deal with many situations and how materials, emergencies etc must be handled or dealt with. It can be taken in person or in fact online but you must have it or you cannot enter the workplace.
