Swimming Pool Pump Repair

March 10th, 2010 . by admin

The local municipal swimming pool had been closed for over a month while they made repairs.  When it is holding 100 degrees every day, the kids in the neighborhood are not very patient and want to get back into the water to stay cool.  My husband stopped by the pool when the maintenance crew was working and asked them if they knew when it would open again.  They said the only thing left to fix was the pump.  They knew pump was noisy and heard what they called pump cavitation.  They were having the suction line checked for a blockage and as soon as this line was open again, the pool would open to the public.
