REGULATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH PEST CONTROL SYDNEY

March 10th, 2010 . by admin

Ants are amongst the most common pests found households. There are over 12 000 ant species worldwide. They feed on sugar, syrup, honey, fruit juice, fats and meat. They can bite, but most species rarely do. Carpenter ants can cause severe structural damage to property. They don’t consume wood like termites, but excavate it to build their nests, damaging and weakening the wooden structures. According to Pest Control Sydney specialists there are many mechanical ways of preventing ant infestation, for instance by trimming branches away from structures to prevent access. In severe cases chemical treatment can be used but then it must be applied directly into the nest.
