I wasn’t too sure that I agreed with my husband when he told me he wanted to have a couple of rainwater tanks installed in our side yard.  I wasn’t sure that the investment would pay off.  Since I could see that he wasn’t going to surrender this idea, I helped pick out the tanks.  We decided to have a plumber install the tanks so they could be pl;umbed into the house.  It took almost no time at all to see a huge difference in the water bill.  We use the rainwater for flushing the toilets, watering the garden and lawn, and washing the cars.  We usee hardly any water that’s provided by the publi utility.
