Building Committee
August 23rd, 2010 . by adminGiven the high risk of liability issues, construction firms have to take serious measures in maintaining safety on the job. Directors need to provide training and enforce the safety rules. It’s good practice to have a building committee consisting of directors, supervisors and a couple of workers. One of the charges of the committee should be to annually review the site specific safety plan format and determine if anything needs to be revised. The committee should review the plans from the past year to see if there’s anything confusing about the plans and brainstorm how to change that part of the plan.
