My birthday is coming up again and I can’t wait. Every year my kids get together and sneak off to a bedroom with their card making supplies. They each then create a homemade birthday card for me. I love to see what they come up with. On my birthday, after they each present me with the card they made, we pull out the album where I keep cards they have given me over the years. We add the new cards and then look at the past ones. I love to see how much they have grown over the past year in their writing and drawing skills. It’s a memory I’ll treasure forever.
