I’m getting married in new york city. We are both living here for work at the moment and it is making our lives much easier. We have settled on almost all of our big things, like venue, guest list, rehearsal dinner location, and caterer. Now I’m shopping for my dress and a photographer. As far as dress shopping goes, I did the obligatory trip to Kleinfeld, but that whole scene isn’t really my thing, so I’ve turned to the gem boxes of boutiques that line side street of Soho and the East Village. As far as photographers, I am adopting the same policy, and going with an artisinal “boutique-artist.”
