I wanted to take some steps to increase the level of security at our home and I was able to by intalling just one wireless surveillance camera over the front door so that I can see who is at the door.  There had been a rash of break ins in our neighborhood where the intruder would knock on the door and kick it in whenever the person opened the door.  I was able to see, my looking on my laptop, whatever the camera could see.  I could check the front door whenever anyone knocked.  Plus, the intruder would have seen the camera and gotten nervous.
